Shenzhen Airport newly opened and encrypted a number of Southeast Asian cargo routes



        Recently, Centaline Longhao Airlines opened the "Shenzhen=Manila" international all-cargo flight route at Shenzhen Airport. At this point, cargo flights between Shenzhen and Manila will be increased from 4 flights a week to 7 flights a week, and the capacity has been further improved.


   Since the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) initiated by ASEAN in 2020, trade between China and ASEAN has bucked the trend and has become each other's largest trading partners. At the same time, the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce has become a powerful booster for the development of aviation logistics business. To meet the needs of trade development, Shenzhen Airport has newly opened and encrypted a number of Southeast Asian cargo routes. After the encryption of the "Shenzhen=Manila" route, Shenzhen to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Clark, Manila, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta and other 7 Southeast Asian cargo destinations The weekly cargo flight frequency is about 50, boosting the economic and trade exchanges between South China, Southeast Asia and ASEAN countries. Up to now, Shenzhen Airport has 47 all-cargo aircraft destinations, and the global radiation capability of the route network continues to increase.


   Driven by the increase in shipping capacity and the optimization of customs clearance services, Shenzhen Airport's freight transport continued to maintain a strong growth momentum from January to April 2021. The cargo and mail throughput reached 507,000 tons, an increase of 36.3% year-on-year, and the growth rate ranked among the top in the country. Among them, international and regional cargo volume accounted for 41.1%, an increase of 74.4% year-on-year, and the cargo "air passage" became more stable and smooth.


   Since the beginning of this year, Shenzhen Airport has continued to improve the quality of cargo development in combination with the party history study and education "I do practical things for the masses". Recently, Shenzhen Airport and the Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone opened an air import and export combined transport business, which greatly improved the efficiency of air cargo clearance. In the early stage, Shenzhen Airport also opened the country's first customs airside gate, which can realize the seamless docking of general cargo on the apron between domestic and international flights. In response to the growing demand for fresh and cold-chain cargo transportation, Shenzhen Airport and Customs have greatly improved the efficiency of customs clearance through optimizing procedures. In the first four months of this year, Shenzhen Airport handled more than 5,000 tons of imported fresh cold chain cargo, a year-on-year increase of 190%.
