Thailand and my country's Hainan Province signed a mini free trade agreement



        According to Thailand’s China Daily reported on August 16, according to Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, Minister Zhu Lin confirmed to host the signing ceremony of the Mini Free Trade Agreement (Mini FTA) between Thailand and China’s Hainan Province on the 20th of this month. Officials believe that this will create more business opportunities for Thai companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, not only for traditional trade and investment, but also for extensive cooperation in cross-border e-commerce.


        Ms. Marika, an adviser to the Minister of Commerce, revealed that according to the schedule, the Ministry of Commerce will sign a mini-free trade agreement with China’s Hainan Province on the 20th. Many business opportunities and cooperation opportunities.


   Hainan is the largest and only provincial special economic zone in China, with a total population of over 10.8 million people. The Ministry of Commerce hopes that through the signing of the mini free trade agreement, the cooperation between the small and medium-sized enterprises of the two sides in trade and investment can be strengthened. In addition, after completing the signing of the mini free trade agreement with Hainan, China, India and South Korea will follow.
