Singapore is the second country and region with the easiest business in the world

"Singapore Eye" reported on June 19: The World Bank announced the ranking of the world's easiest countries to do business. Even though the pace of reform in Southeast Asia has slowed, Singapore still ranks second, with the first name being New Zealand. Others include: Hong Kong, China, Denmark, South Korea, United States, Georgia, United Kingdom, Norway and Sweden.

According to the latest World Bank research, 33 business-climate-enhancing reforms have been implemented in Southeast Asia and the Pacific during the past 12 months (as of May 1 this year), a decrease of 10 from the previous year item. Even so, Singapore has simplified the processing of work permits in the construction industry, allowing merchants to do business in Singapore better.

In addition, China is the country with the fastest economic improvement in the top 10 this year, and has 8 reform projects, ranking second in the world. Indonesia and Myanmar have 5 reforms, and the Philippines has 3 reforms.

Overall, the Southeast Asian and Pacific economies have focused their reform efforts on improving construction permit processing and reform operations. The region’s economy has therefore performed well in obtaining credit, electricity, and processing building permits.
