Maersk names new CFO

It is understood that on February 12, the Maersk Group announced that Mr. Patrick Jany will join A.P. Mueller-Maerskine as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and become a member of the Maersk Executive Board.

(Patrick Jany) is a German citizen who previously served as Chief Financial Officer in the fields of finance and business process optimization, and was a member of the Executive Committee of Clariant AG. From May 1, 2020, he will serve as CFO of Maersk.

Prior to serving as Chief Financial Officer, Patrick Jany held various leadership positions in the finance, general management and corporate development departments of Clariant's Germany, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia and Spain.
