Alibaba participates in Ninja Van's Series E financing



        Foreign media reported that Alibaba participated in the Series E financing of Ninja Van, a technology logistics company operating in Southeast Asia. Ninja Van received US$578 million in the latest round of financing.


   Existing investors Geopost/DPDgroup, B Capital Group, Monk's Hill Ventures and Zamrud, an entity related to Southeast Asian sovereign wealth funds. Also participated in this round.


   Funds from this round of investment will be used to support a sustainable long-term cost structure and Ninja Van's operational quality and consistent infrastructure and technical systems. The funds will also be invested in Ninja Van's micro-supply chain solution suite to help Southeast Asian companies optimize e-commerce opportunities.
