What are the document requirements for exporting to Malaysia?



1. Do not accept the same box used in 2 or more bills of lading, that is: do not accept partial bill;


2. Breakbulk shipment does not accept combined orders;


3. The consignor, consignee and notifier must provide complete information and show it on the bill of lading (including company name, address, city and country). The address must display at least 2 lines;


4. The consignor cannot be a Malaysian company or individual;


5. The consignee must be a local company in Malaysia. If it is a to order bill of lading, the notifying party must be a local company in Malaysia; in the case of transshipment, the consignee must be shown as the real consignee C/O local company in Malaysia, and provide the address of the Malaysian company;


6. If the consignee is a bank, the bill of lading must show "to order of xxx bank";


7. If it is a to order bill of lading, only one space can be reserved between "to" and "order";


8. The bill of lading to Pasir Gudang or Tanjung Pelepas cannot show the transshipment clause;


9. All goods to Malaysia and transiting here must provide a 6-digit HS CODE; if it is a mixed shipment of multiple goods and involves different HS CODE, please send the cargo information separately according to the HS CODE;


10. When the transported goods are "cars", only CFS terms are accepted, and it needs to be provided in the cargo description,

2) Model;


3) Chassis Number;


4) Engine Number;


5) Use / New (U/N);


6) Engine CC;


7) Year of Manufacturing 8) Country of Origin;


11. The port of discharge must indicate the final port of discharge;


12. All goods transshipped through Port Klang will not accept Port Klang as the port of discharge to be shown on the bill of lading.
