Jieyang Port develops new oil terminal

       Guangzhou Port Group and the Jieyang Municipal Government of Guangdong Province signed a port cooperation agreement to jointly develop the Jieyang Port terminal project.

　　According to the agreement, Guangzhou Port Group, Guangdong Jieyang Municipal Government and CCCC No. 4 Port Engineering Company will jointly fund the construction of public docks at Jieyang Port in the Huilai coastal port area, including the first phase of the petrochemical terminal, general cargo terminal and LPG terminal.

　　 In addition, the three parties will promote the integration of local inland river port resources and increase the capacity of container and bulk cargo handling.

　　 The project mainly serves energy goods such as petroleum products, petrochemical products, liquefied natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas, and will develop into an important energy storage and transportation base in the Pearl River Delta.
